I last checked in three years ago.

Since then I moved (part-time) to Ohio and dropped out of the Midland branch. But I'm still interested and miss my old friends so I plan to rejoin as a "dual". California Online is my primary AAUW membership in keeping with my passion for e-communication and nomadic lifestyle.

This month's book, our first, is Farmworker's Daughter, an Adelante pick. The author is in dialog with us but she communicates via email. I hope to persuade her to post to our blog, too.
